Vision Within Nine Stanzas

Falling upwards into the sky
Forwards backwards now I fly
I'm ending where I started
From heaven to earth to heaven again

Then I wake up asleep inside my dreams
Looking around everything seems, fine
Too fine, this is fake
Because I'm sleeping awake

I awake into my sleepless nightmare with the sky falling down
I close my eyes to truly look around
I see the etheral images of people running
Towards the disaster do they not know

I see it why can't they
On my knees I begin to pray
Out loud in my head I say
How I want them to live another day

I see them open doors right to walls
Bringing their lives to complete stalls
Looking around to find a way out
Inside their heads I hear them shout

Will they truly open their eyes
And look up the skies
To see what's falling around
And bringing them to the ground

Eyes are closed, inside and out
They're not looking or wanting to
This is what will end them
It will end you

Be careful in your life my dear

Ever fighting she was
For all the right reasons
To save her friends and people
And they thought it was treason

How, could they not see it in her eyes
The way she fought for all of their lives
As high she was, now she's fallen
Dirt in her face, but not forsaken

God is with you now, through the fight
He's the hand on your shoulder, telling you it's allright
He strengthens you and gives you power
He's with you, follower or not until the final hour

She felt like she couldn't go on
It was done and she just sat there
But with her life there was hope
And in her mind she thought back to God her Father
Said she needed him now, after not following him and stumbling
And then she started remembering

And then like a flash of light
Came the Father so bright
Chased her down and made her right
And gave her strength to win her fight

She fought past the defenders and made her push
The whole time God cheering her on talking like the burning bush
She made it to her goal and saved the race
She saved them all and they didn't understand her graces

Fighting past friends and peers, no one new
They understood in the end, too late, maybe
But in the end, it was all her destiny
