Rain of Darkness

Sadness comes in clouds like rain
Every once in a while we feel the pain
Wish it would just go away
Instead it stays and tries to make my faith delay

I fight through, never going down
Sadness seads being sown
Fertilized by sin like rain
No good to gain, darkness will reign

Next the clouds will part
The reign of light will start
And soon after the darkness will flee
And all the people will truly see

You always loved them and still do
For all their faults and mistakes
They're in the last to you
Doesn't matter if they lived as fakes

You make yourself known only so much
That little you're not seen makes them lose their clutch
Sometimes it's hard to see through the darkness
What you try to see turns into a mess

Where's the light, it's not there
I'll show you, I still care
It's always around
Not hiding underground
