Somethings done wrong
You made an error and it can't be erased
You'll leave it there and move along

You've made a few errors you can't erase
Maybe they're actually part of the answer and question
They make the board what it is
The birth of it and starting of it a good suggestion

You can't erase what's on your drawing board
You tried but it just cluttered to a horde
In the end it's always happened and can't be different
Those things in the past you can't throw away, you're not innocent

All those lines to scratch them out
Don't hide them, they're still there
They're what made you now
Don't keep trying to erase and fall into despair

All those things are beautiful
Every line and every flaw
The board is amazing and well done
You didn't pull the shortest straw

You can't change your drawing board
You have to keep every little flaw
